Erin O’Donnell, David Michael’s Trendspotter, returns to deliver the "Roadmap to the Roadshow." In this dynamic session, Erin identifies emerging trends, samples unique products from around the globe, and provides the inside scoop on Innovation Showcase influences. She’ll get you thinking in new ways, and rev you up for the Innovation Showcase.
Flavors and Technologies from Around the World
With over 70 Food Scientists, Flavor Chemists, Color Engineers, Chefs and Technicians worldwide, we’ve got a lot of great ideas. Whether it’s a new technology, an exotic flavor, a blue-sky idea, or a way to transfer a successful product into a new category, the Roadshow Innovation Showcase allows our gifted staff the opportunity to reveal what’s on their radar screen. Attendees will walk away with new flavor insights, unique product development applications, and a renewed sense of creativity.
The Roadshow gives our talented staff the opportunity to expand on ideas, conduct new research or work outside their areas of expertise. Past Roadshows have yielded a bevy of unique flavors, textural innovations and creative applications. Highlights include: Sliceable Salsa, a dripless version of America’s favorite condiment; Créme Fraiche Ice Cream, a naturally low fat and indulgent frozen dessert; and Pizza Yogurt, a savory treat for children of all ages.
Your Extreme Brand Makeover
Our theme for the 2008 Innovation Roadshow is "Extreme Brand Makeover." In the current economic climate, existing brand equity is more valuable than ever. Smart companies will look to revitalize existing brands, in fresh ways, in order to drive growth.
The objective of the session is to address how organizations can continue to grow long-term, successful brands through innovative product enhancements and marketing methods. Industry expert Harry Stagnito, President, Stagnito Media Group, will lead a panel of product developers who will discuss their philosophies on innovating mature brands. The audience is encouraged to take part in this informal discussion about best practices to reignite product life cycles.

Our annual pre-show dinner has evolved into its own unique culinary experience.
