Associate Account Manager - United States

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This entry level position offers a comprehensive 12 to 18 month one-on-one training program in DM’s Philadelphia corporate headquarters. Upon competition of the program the individual must relocate to sales territory in a US major city as an Account Manager. Training offers hands on exposure to every aspect of our business and covers product knowledge, customer service, company operations, and professional selling skills. Our goal is to have the most knowledgeable sales force in the industry.

This is a creative, consultative, professional sales position geared toward developing new business opportunities and servicing existing business. It entails building long-term relationships, supporting our clients in their endeavors to create new food products, helping them utilize our products effectively, and offering customized solutions. Emphasis is on the development process rather then the quick close.

THE OFFER:
The salary and incentive encourages a lucrative, challenging, long term career in sales. A company car is provided and account managers receive full reimbursement for all travel and business expenses

  • Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree.

    Notre objectif est d'avoir la force de vente la plus compétente de l'industrie, vos principales missions seront :

    • Gérer et développer un portefeuille de clients existants et de prospects.
    • Etablir des relations à long terme avec nos clients.
    • Développer de nouveaux business visant à créer de nouveaux produits alimentaires.
    • Analyser les résultats du secteur.

    PROFIL RECHERCHE:

    • Formation supérieure commerciale et / ou scientifique.
    • Débutant ou première expérience (0 à 2 ans).

      Freight Traffic Coordinator

      SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Responsible for overseeing all shipping and transportation issues, while providing highest level of service to all customers.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Primary associate responsible for coordinating daily domestic and international shipments.
      • Arrange daily freight pick up for ground and air shipments by contacting customers, carriers and logistic companies for shipping instructions.
      • Prepare bill of ladings to customers’ specifications.
      • Coordinate internal paperwork for international shipments.
      • Prepare hazardous declarations when needed for shipments and samples.
      • Follow up with customers with necessary information after order ship.
      • Maintain files and file claims when necessary.

      QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

      • General knowledge of transportation, inco terms, international shipping and DOT rules.
      • Experience in preparing shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, with an emphasis on the later.
      • Shipping knowledge of hazardous materials.
      • Current hazmat certifications (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
      • Strong attention to detail & good note keeping a must.
      • Good computer & strong telephone skills.
      • Working knowledge of Lotus notes a plus.
      • Must work well under pressure.

      EDUCATION/ TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

      • A high school degree is required.
      • Any additional education a plus.
      • Minimum of three to five years experience in traffic and customer service; including shipping operations required.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

      • Majority of time is spent at the desk.
      • Moderate to heavy telephone work, moderate computer work.
      • Some walking interactions with other departments.
      • No heavy lifting required.
      • Climate controlled.
      • High volume of stress at times.
      • Exposure to food grade aroma and/or smells.
